Where Partnership becomes Sisterhood
No single organisation can provide every answer, but together we can ensure no woman has to face life's challenges alone.
The Sisterhood Network brings together trusted organisations that support women from the Armed Forces and Blue Light communities. Whether you're looking for wellbeing support, employment advice, financial guidance, housing assistance, family services, peer support or opportunities to connect with others, our partners are here to help.
At SisterForce, we believe that asking for support is a sign of courage. Through The Sisterhood Network, we help connect you with the organisations best placed to support your journey.

Supporting Women Veterans in Healthcare
Sisters In Service
Sisters in Service was born from a need to support women veterans, particularly those who have chosen to work in healthcare, to provide a safe and supportive environment, enable effective networking, and promote help-seeking behaviours.
Sisters in Service is a dedicated space for mutual support and connection.

Tranmere Rovers in the Community provides a welcoming and supportive environment for female veterans across Wirral and Merseyside, helping women reconnect with their community and access opportunities that improve wellbeing, confidence and social connection.
Through activities, peer support and community-based programmes, the organisation creates a safe space where female veterans can meet others with shared experiences, reduce isolation, build new friendships and access wider support when needed. Its work recognises that women can experience military service and transition differently and ensures female veterans have a place where they feel seen, valued and connected.

The Athena Effect is a pioneering initiative founded by double Olympic champion and Army veteran Dame Kelly Holmes, created to empower and support women who have served in the UK Armed Forces. Drawing on the strength of shared military experience and the power of connection, it brings female veterans together to build confidence, improve wellbeing and rediscover a sense of purpose and belonging.
Through inspirational events, activities and opportunities to connect with other women who have served, The Athena Effect celebrates the contribution of female veterans while creating a supportive community where women can share experiences, develop new connections and feel recognised beyond their military service.
